Hi, I’m Christine

I’m the girl behind the lens.

I’m a wife, a mom of five, and a proud Nana to four grandbabies. My life is full of movement, laughter, and a little bit of chaos—and that’s exactly what shapes the way I approach photography. I’m comfortable in the real, unposed moments… the giggles, the eye rolls, the in-between seconds that end up meaning the most.

At home, my youngest son and I are known for our love of bad puns and perfectly terrible dad jokes. We consider it a win when the rest of the family groans but can’t help smiling. My other kids and I are music lovers, often singing at the top of our lungs in the car. Those little, candid moments? That’s the feeling I aim to capture in every session—authentic, joyful, and full of life.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, and if you know me then you already know that. I love creativity, storytelling, and a chance to become something a little magical for a day. Also you cant beat free candy! In our house, we start planning costumes on November 1st for the next year. That same love for imagination and detail carries into my photography, whether we’re creating something playful or keeping things beautifully simple.

My husband and I have also fallen in love with traveling. We’ve explored Argentina, Greece, and Spain, and we’re always dreaming about where to go next—maybe Japan with the kids. Traveling has taught me to see beauty in different places, cultures, and perspectives… and it’s given me a deeper appreciation for capturing moments as they truly feel. Because just like a trip, life moves fast—and the best parts deserve to be remembered.

And the food! Unforgettable. The steaks in Argentina are incredible. Feta cheese in Greece completely ruined feta in the states, and don’t even get me started on the coffee. Experiences like that remind me how powerful memories can be—and that’s exactly what I want to give you through your photos.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting someone to take pictures. You’re getting someone who understands how meaningful these moments are—and who will capture them in a way that feels real, warm, and uniquely yours.

Why Did I Get Into Photography?

My love for photography started when I was very young—definitely before I hit double digits. I still remember my very first camera: a little 110 film camera and three cartridges. I ran outside and photographed everything I could find—the shapes and colors of rocks, a slimy snail on the freshly watered lawn, all the little details that fascinated me but I didn’t yet have words for.

A few days later, my mom handed me the developed photos… and every single one was blurry. I remember her asking, “Why did you take pictures of a bunch of rocks?” obviously I had no idea what I was doing—I didn’t know about focus or distance—but I was completely hooked.

Over the years, my mom kept buying me film, and eventually I upgraded to a Minolta X-700 35mm film camera. Through trial and error, I learned how to turn what I saw and felt into something I could capture. Today, I primarily shoot digital, but I still pull out my favorite 35mm camera from time to time for black-and-white images—it reminds me where all of this started.

While I’ll always have a soft spot for the little details—rocks, flowers, seashells, and the occasional “rock” that turns out to be a tiny crab and scares me half to death—my favorite subject has become people. Real people, real connections, real moments. The kind that aren’t always perfectly posed but are always meaningful.

I love photographing my kids (when they let me), even if it ends with a look that clearly says, “Seriously, Mom.” I love capturing the personalities of our dogs and the hummingbirds in my backyard. Those everyday, fleeting moments are the ones that matter most—and they’re the same moments I strive to preserve for my clients.

Because at the end of the day, I’m still that same kid who sees the world with curiosity and wonder—I just have a better camera now.

And one more thing you should know about me: I love people. I love conversation, connection, and making others feel comfortable. I’ve been told I can walk into a room full of strangers and leave with a room full of friends—and that’s exactly the kind of energy I bring to every session.
